Joe Gerber, Director of Music Ministry
Joe Gerber, “aka” Boogie, has been the Director of Music Ministries at Discover Church since 2007. Joe and his wife Tirzah met and married while doing ministry at a church in North Minneapolis where Joe grew up. It was at this church that the pastor’s son nicknamed him Boogie since he loved to dance while playing the bass. Joe and his wife are blessed to have adopted their son Daniel and daughter Aduko from Ghana, West Africa in 2011. Their home is full of music and the love of 3 dogs, Bella, Maximus, and Valor. Joe loves to watch a good game of soccer or hockey!
